Rules.
- Restoration rules of restoring the commuted part of pension if a year is less then a year or fraction in the year shown in the Commutation table if year is less than 6 months will ignored and count the that 6 months as a more then will be count as one year.
- Under the current standards a beneficiary on his choice can get his Pension drove upto a limit of 50%. In such cases Government pays drove worth of such part of Pension for various years as per age next birthday after retirement as displayed in the Commutation Table. The President has been satisfied to conclude that drove part of annuity to the degree of 1/fourth of gross Pension will be reestablished with effect from first July, 1985 on account of such considerate retired people including those paid from Defense Services Estimates who have proactively finished the quantity of years for which drove worth of Pension was paid. The 1/fourth drove part of annuity will likewise be reestablished on account of those resigning in future on culmination of the quantity of years for which drove esteem is paid.
- No arrears on account of restoration of commuted portion of pension will be payable in those cases in which the number of years paid for had been completed before 1st July, 1985. [Finance Division O.M. No. F. 10(8)-Reg. (6)/85, dated 25-6-1985.]
